AZR TECH CALLS GUIDE
AZR Tech Calls are easy folks as long as we have a little info so we know what we are working with we can help you with the TM Manual Install Instructions.
I ask a few questions to build your rig in my head. We have multiple models thus I need to know about the Mil-Spec AR and what AZR Model you have.
The basic questions for a Tech Call :
Mil-Spec AR yes or no
5.56 or 9mm
(also applies to 7.62 etc as long as you are running a std type Mil-Spec AR)
Looking at the oval pocket in the upper do you see carrier tail in 2/3 of the oval and 1/3 is empty yes or no
Do you have the correct buffer with weights that rattle when you shake it yes or no
What Model AZR do you have
(if AZR-15A1 I already know you have my AZR FCG thus I may not ask the next one)
What trigger do you have in the gun
From those few basic questions I can help you with our TM Install Instructions.
If you do not know what you have thats no problem just stop by your local Gunsmith and ask them what you have then give us a call so we can help you with the TM Instructions.
Most of the time folks just need to use the AZR provided disconnector with thier AZR-15M2 or a Mil-Spec Trigger with the M2 or on rare occasion for the A1 they have an upper pocket that is out of spec and they need to clearance the A1 hammer just a shade so it does not contact the AZR unit as the TM calls for.
Its really that simple.
Honestly once those questions are answered we can already tell you what is going on in the gun as far as the AZR product is concearned. We know exactly what it will do in a normal in spec Mil-Spec AR. But if you have an out of spec condition or if your gun is something with weird internals etc not a normal Mil-Spec AR or if you are trying to do something that is not within the AZR Factory Instructions in the TM Manual we have no option but to refer you to your local Gunsmith for some hands on assistance for your safety
I engineered the AZR line for Guaranteed Perfect Function in the Std Mil-Spec AR platform thus when you have a normal in spec Mil-Spec AR and follow the simple instructions your gun will function just like the ones you see here on our site.
