FRT Trigger History and Facts Part 1

May 23rd 2026

Here at ARIZONA REGULATOR ® we love history and in perticular FRT Trigger History has quite a few things filtered around on the inteweb that are deciving to folks thus we wanted to clarify some of those deceptions thus we are doing a multi-part series here at ARIZONA REGULATOR ®.

So lets kick this off with FRT Trigger History and Facts Part 1

The Origin of FRT Triggers

The FRT trigger was invented in 1934 by C. J. MICHAL, JR this is the oldest known FRT Patent in existance.  The patent was filed on March 1, 1934 and issued Oct. 13, 1936.  to C. J. MICHAL, JR under U.S. Patent Number 2,056,975.  When you read the patent doc you will see by the mechanics that C. J. MICHAL, JR would be in fact the Godfather of the FRT.   Here is the link to read for yourself.

C. J. MICHAL, JR didnt realize the technical aspect of forced reset trigger technology but that is exactly the mechanics he used in his invention.  To apply a force to the internals so the trigger and hammer reconnect.  Why did he not explore that technical aspect for verbiage.  It was not relevent at the time he filed his Patent.

After his Patent was already filed the 1934 NFA took effect as the (use your favorite word here) embedded in America blatently violated the 2nd Amendement of the Constitution in attempt to Unlawfully Disarm America.  Keep in mind Legal and Lawful are two different things in that realm.  Words do mean things folks.

Which is how and why our ARIZONA REGULATOR ® is 100% Lawful and Legal.  ARIZONA REGULATOR ® is the U.S. Supreme Court Approved S.F.T.™ System for your AR.  We use the Lawful and Legal Single Function of the Trigger mechanics described by Justice Thomas in his monumentous ruling in the GOA Bumpstock Case.

Bumpstock how does that relate to FRT Triggers.  Simple.  Justice Thomas clearly described what a Single Function of the Trigger is.  Which equates to as long as you have to manually disconnect the trigger from the hammer to fire each shot you are doing Legal and Lawful Single Function of the Trigger.

This U.S. Supreme Court Ruling applies to ALL AMERICANS.  Everyone in America is protected by the Ruling as long as you are using a Legitimate Single Function of the Trigger Product.  The S.F.T.™ function as applied by means of our U.S. Patent Pending FRT Technology allows ARIZONA REGULATOR ® to bring you the best FRT 3 Position Triggers ever created.

Pretty basic and real as it gets folks.  These things have been around a long long time.  So you see when the deceptive posts on the internet claim that something is the first FRT Trigger or that they are the only Legal FRT you are being lied to.

Yes it sucks but thats how some of the internet works folks.  Read and learn for yourselves rather than just listening to the "talking heads" that tell you things that are not true about FRT Force Reset Triggers.

Then ask yourself why would the "talking heads" want to decieve you.  That is the real question to answer for yourselves.  We already know the answer.

Our position here at ARIZONA REGULATOR ® is to be upfront and honest with yall just like J.D. has been with his customers for about a decade.  Please research for yourselves and make your own informed decisions.

Heres how to do it folks so you can stay safe out there

Click the whois link https://www.whois.com/

Open a new browser tab

Go to the website you want to check on to make sure it is a legit American Based Registered URL

Copy that website home page address and paste it into whois

It will look like this if they are legit American Based Company with an American Based Registrar like ARIZONA REGULATOR ® is

Once pasted in like you see above hit the button and see what you find

For ARIZONA REGULATOR ® you will see we are 100% American Based using an American Registrar

Now that you know how to verfiy for yourself you may find as we did some of the Non-American Internet Domains are registered at the largest known location in the world for identity theft and fraud.  What the hell you say.  Yes that is correct.  You will find that the same location the NY Times wrote an article on may also be where you are clicking.

How does that work.  Simple.

The URL location at the Registrar on the Registrars Server is what you click on which redirects you to the IP address for the web store.  How it does that is an A Record update.  Updating the A Record at the Registrar Server redirects your click from that Registrars Server to the web store IP address.  Thats how it works with American Based GoDaddy when we use our GoDaddy Domain name arizonaregualtor.com that takes you to our Big Commerce site here.

Be careful out there folks and ensure you know who you are buying from no matter what you are buying be it gun parts or home goods.

Dont just believe us.  As we always say.  Read it for yourself and make your own informed decision.

This is what you will find when you come across one of these

Heres the Whois for some thing we ran across that is for sale on the interweb to unsuspecting Americans.

Spooky stuff huh.  We think so too thus we are making this information availible to help protect unsuspecting Americans from unknowingly getting caught up in scams or identiy theft as reported by the NY Times for that overseas location.

As we always advise.  Read for yourself and make your own informed decisions.
